2026 7th International Conference on New Materials and Clean Energy (ICAMCE 2026) was grandly held in Xiamen, Fujian Province from January 30th to February 1st, 2026. This conference, with the core theme of "Gathering Global Wisdom to Drive a Green Future", focuses on the cutting-edge trends and innovative achievements in clean energy technology, biomass energy, new chemical materials and their cross-disciplinary applications, aiming to build a high-level and international academic exchange and cooperation platform. The conference attracted a large number of experts, scholars, researchers and student representatives from domestic and foreign universities, research institutes and industries to gather together and jointly discuss the technological innovation and development paths in the fields of new materials and clean energy.

The core keynote report session of the conference invited three outstanding scholars in this field to share their latest research achievements and profound insights.

Professor Qi Hong, the vice dean of the School of Energy Science and Engineering at Harbin Institute of Technology, delivered the opening report titled "Research on Thermal Physical Property Measurement Technology of High-Temperature Molten Salt for Solar Energy". Professor Qi Hong systematically expounded on the crucial role of high-temperature molten salts in the thermal utilization of concentrated solar energy, and elaborated on the significant breakthroughs made by his team in the precise measurement technology of the thermal physical properties of high-temperature molten salts, providing a solid data foundation and theoretical support for the efficiency improvement and safe operation of clean energy systems such as solar thermal power generation.

Subsequently, Professor Li Haitao from Jiangsu University, the host of the conference, delivered a special report titled "Green Ammonia Synthesis Driven by the Dual Carbon Background". He conducted an in-depth analysis of the challenges and opportunities faced by the traditional ammonia synthesis industry under the "dual carbon" strategic goals, with a focus on introducing the "green ammonia" synthesis technology path based on renewable energy, the latest research progress and the future industrialization prospects, providing innovative ideas for the low-carbon and green transformation of the chemical industry.

Professor Xie Guohua from Xiamen University, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry, delivered a wonderful report titled "Transfer Printing Organic Light-Emitting Diodes". Professor Xie Guohua elaborated in a clear and understandable way on the key advantages and application potential of solution processing and transfer printing technology in the preparation of high-performance, large-area organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs), demonstrating their broad prospects in the next-generation flexible display and lighting fields, which aroused great interest among the participants.

The successful holding of the conference has built a valuable communication bridge for scholars and engineers worldwide dedicated to the research of new materials and clean energy. It will surely further stimulate innovative inspiration, deepen the cooperation among industry, academia and research, and jointly promote the technological progress and sustainable development in this field.
